Guided Roast Profiles

Roaster-specific guided profiles for Fresh Roast SR540/SR800, Behmor 2000AB/1600, Hottop KN-8828, Gene Cafe CBR-101, Kaldi Wide/Fortis, and 9+ DIY/stovetop builds. Each profile adapts heat, fan, and timing to your specific equipment with audio cues at first crack, drying milestone auto-detection, and post-roast weight loss analysis.
Temperature Logging & Charting

Log temperatures manually at 30-second intervals with audio chimes and milestone detection. Real-time roast profile chart with phase-colored backgrounds, milestone markers, and clear axis labels. Input from your roaster's built-in display or an external thermometer. External USB (Mastech) and WiFi probe logging is now included with Home.
Ratings & Cupping

10-point quick rating with tasting wheel, or guided evaluation covering aroma, flavor, acidity, body, sweetness, balance, and aftertaste. A quality modifier weighs how accurately you hit your target roast level and adjusts your suggested cup score accordingly.

Every roast earns a Roast Quality Score that weighs roast level, development time ratio, rate of rise, weight loss, and evenness — so you know whether a batch was good and exactly what to adjust next time. The score adapts to how you roast, so hand-loggers and air-roasters get fair feedback too — plus predicted cupping scores and a flavor intensity wheel.
Decaf Roasting

Full decaf-aware roasting across every module. Adjusted charge temperatures, gentler heat curves, and warnings about muted first crack and misleading color. Decaf-specific quality scoring that doesn't penalize inherent decaf characteristics. Java Geek decaffeination education with evidence-graded fact-vs-lore content, plus decaf and half-caf blend presets.
